I cannot thank photographer Tiffany Ho: [link]
enough for this image. She was able to capture everything I had hoped for with this costume.

This is my Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim Amano Tifa cosplay. During the shoot, I was trying to capture an Amano-esque dreamlike and ethereal expression. I was also, of course, trying to put myself in the mindset of Tifa contemplating her relationship with Cloud. Additionally, the location had patches of foliage surrounded by a lot of dead trees. As this photo was being taken, I was thinking that the living foliage represented Aerith reviving the area.
Nearly everything was constructed by me. My friend Rebecca Davis assisted with the pleather stitching and glove bases because a special machine needed to be used to stitch pleather over craftfoam to achieve the volume I was hoping for. I did the detailing with pleather, swarovski crystals, and puff paint. The armor was constructed by me out of craft foam, metal washers, epoxy resin, and spray chrome.
